He was predeceased by: his grandson Tyler Craig Counts; his parents, Richard Clay and Mattie Louise Counts (Stanley); and his brothers, Joe Charles Counts (Irene) and Stanley Counts.
He is survived by: his wife Willadean Welborn Counts; his children, Thomas Counts (Leigh Ann), Mary Kimbrough (Larry) and Harriet Inman (Anthony); his grandchildren, Katy Counts McDonald (Cody), Bartlett Kimbrough (Emma), Elizabeth Kimbrough, Will Inman (Monica) and Ryan Inman (Anna-Margaret); his great grandchildren, Adalyn McDonald, Lacey McDonald, Landers Anne Kimbrough, Benjamin Kimbrough, Ollie Kate Kimbrough, Jenna Johnson and Taylor Johnson; and his grandson Jackson Inman. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spry Memorial Chapel/ Funeral Home (907 Jackson Ave S, Russellville, AL 35653-2625). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
