He is survived by: his sons, William "Bo" Wheat (Sabrina), Micheal S. Wheat, David E. Wheat (Olivia) and R. Blake Wheat (Brooke); and his grandchildren, Hunter R. Wheat, T. Heath Averette, Emily S. Wheat, Heathe R. Averette, Brandon Averette, Brianna Averette, Katie Wheat, Christy Wheat, Bryant Wheat, Eric Wheat, Aubrey Wheat, Bently George, Shelby George and Evelyn Wheat. He is also survived by several great grand children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home- Tuscaloosa (6100 Old Greensboro Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (6057 Co Rd 50, Moundville, AL 35474).
