He is survived by: his children, Timothy Averette (Donna) of Northport, Bro. Phillip Averette (Delores) of Niota, TN., Annette Fondren (Glenn) of Moundville, Marilyn Ard (Luke) of Hanceville and Paula Bates (Carl) of Moundville; his grandchildren, Kathryn Ezell, Kimberly Michael, Jennifer Massengale (Freddy), Jessica Cole (Ralph), Alana Holmes, Lacey Williamson (Zach), Wesley Phillip Averette, II (Holly), Elisabeth Hale (Rob), Laura Davis (Brandon), Anna Crowley (Jon), Ethan Averette (Laura), Carlton Bates (Ashley) and Caleigh Boswell (Jonathan); his brothers, Less Averette and Gene Averette (Kay); his sister-in-law Elsie Vernon; and his close friend Louise Thomas. He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
