She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Beard and Willie May Beard; her son Phillip Dewayne Cook; and her siblings, Willa Dean Beard, Ann Coley, Jeanette Stripling, Steve, Randy, Junior, Danny, Michael, Theron and Buddy Beard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane McDaniel (Tony), Sharlene Averette (Curtis) and Crystal James (Richard); and her siblings, Betty Stripling and Joel Beard. She is also survived by grandchildren.
