He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Wilson and Ollie Belle Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Bess Wilson; his children, Angela Channell (Ron), Jeremy Wilson (Tabitha), Josh Klein (Jared) and John Channell; his siblings, Blanche Johnston, Peggy Alexander (Jerry), Jimmy Ryan (Margaret), John Wilson (Becky) and Aubrey Wilson; and his grandchildren, Dalton Cooper, Rylan Wilson and Audrie Wilson.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
