He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Ashlyn Tierce. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Beard; his children, Brandon Beard (Tabatha), Steven Beard (Temekia) and Amanda Tierce (Benji); his grandchildren, Savannah, Dylan, Chelsey, Rylee, Taylor, Skylar, Ashton, Makayla, Carmen, Makinzzy, Summer and Michael III; and his siblings, Joel Beard, Theron Beard, Shirley Cook and Betty Stripling.
