He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Dillard; and his mother-in-law Dophia Averette. He is survived by: his wife Judy Averette Dillard; his brother Terry Dillard (Fredia); his sister-in-law Jo Anne Thomas (Cecil); his niece Sheryl Tubbs (Allen); and his nephews, Brian Thomas (Patti), Brett Averette (Alaca) and Brannon Averette (Leslie). He is also survived by great nephews and nieces as well as many friends.
