Elizabeth Odell Cole Obituary

Elizabeth Odell Cole, 84 of Moundville, AL went to her eternal home on February 15, 2023. She was born on August 5, 1938 in Hale County, AL to Willie Kelly and Myrtis Cook Crocker Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Robert Cole; and her brother, Jerry Kelly. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Lynn Smith; her sons, Kenneth Wayne Cole (Mabry), John Michael Cole (Wanda), and Robert Gerris Cole (Rose); her brother, Roger Kelly (Ellen); and her sister, Euelle Eads. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at New Haven Baptist Church with Rev Arthur Thomas officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing. Graveside service will follow at the New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: William Larry Smith, Jairo Hernan Solaque, Jeremy Brandon Cole, Jonathan Shane Cole, John David Cole, and Christian Michael Cole.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
