She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rufus and Virginia Davis Johnston of Moundville Alabama; and her siblings, Kenneth Ray Johnston, George Edwin Johnston and Mary Ellen Thrasher.
She is survived by: her son Northport; her husband Edward Hugh Kynard; her sons, Michael Hugh Kynard and Matthew Edward Kynard (Leslie); her grandchildren, Brylan Austin Skelton, Summer Alyse Kynard and Acadia Michelle Kynard; and her siblings, Robert Howell Johnston, Dale Allen Johnston, Janice Folmar and Peggy Jo Daniels.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that a donation be made to the Moundville Baptist Church.
