It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Lackey of Moulton, Alabama, who passed away on March 25, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaynom McLemore and Bertie Aldridge McLemore; her husband Robert Lackey; her siblings, Chalmus McLemore, Kenneth McLemore, Ray McLemore, Charles McLemore, Doris Kelsoe, Grace Gillespie and Nelda Gillespie; and her granddaughter Jennifer Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Lackey, Barbara Dutton, Wanda Dutton (Clifford), Eddie Lackey (Donna), Rickey Lackey, Frankie Lackey (Teresa) and Gina Terry (Scottie); and her grandchildren, Donna Parker (Jeff), Kenny Dutton (Lynn), Dana Latham (Tracy), Brandi Cantrell (Dennis), Cindy Jackson (Barry), Cassandra Moore (Chris), Candi Wates (Brandon), Tina Jones (Scott), Tana Sawyer (Heath), Christopher Lackey (Ashley), Lizz Waple (Adam), Dustie Terry (Callie), Casey Smith and Amanda Austin Lacy. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
