He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Ashley and Eloise Dover Ashley; his stepson Kevin Ward; and his brothers, Wendell Ashley, Cecil Ashley and Charles Ashley.
He is survived by: his wife Bonny Ashley; his children, Robert Ashley (April) and Melinda Thompson (Dewayne); his stepsons, Jeffery Watkins (Becky), David Watkins (Phyllis) and Michael Watkins (Tina); and his brother Waymon Ashley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
