He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carl Puckett and Wanda Studdard Puckett; his sister Angela Renee Kelly; and his stepbrother William Joseph Beard. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Ray; his son James C. Puckett; his stepchildren, Christopher M. Walker and Melanie N. Burdick; and his grandchildren, Makenna N. Burdick and Peyton Campbell Burdick.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (23599 AL-24, Trinity, AL 35673). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
