He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Montgomery and Ruby Dover Montgomery; his wife Vernalue Montgomery; and his brothers, Howell Montgomery, Sam Montgomery, Bill Montgomery and Leman "Bud" Montgomery.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Montgomery (Beverly), Tim Montgomery (Donna), Tad Montgomery (Stephanie), Karan Montgomery and Marsha Montgomery. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Union Hill Cemetery (60 Co Rd 119, Moulton, AL 35650).
