With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merlene Drake of Moulton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leman Jack and Maggie Osborn Perry of Merlene; her former husband Moses Hand; her husband Leon Drake; and her brothers, Otis Perry and Danny Perry.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Hand (Christie), Tom Hand (Robyn), Gary Hand (Vicki) and Brad Hand; her grandchildren, Brooke Hand, Brittany Wimberley (Dexter), Kaylee Kidd (Blaine), Madison Hand, Zack Boren and Haylee Boren; her great grandchildren, Kayden Long, Luke Long, Briggs Wimberley, Riley Wimberley, Tori Roberts and Finnleyreigh Kidd; and her sister Teresa Roraback (Paul). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
