She was predeceased by: her parents, Leldon George and Christine Sherrill George Polaski; and her siblings, Leldon "Bud" George and Betty Wear. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Craig Appleton, Sr.; her children, Craig Appleton (Tracy), Chris Appleton (Rhonda) and Gwena Sims (Ryan); her grandchildren, Jake Appleton, Maggie Kirkpatrick (Will), Xavier Appleton, Zaida Sims and Jada Appleton; and her great grandchildren, Gray Kirkpatrick and Taylon Kirkpatrick.
