He is survived by: his children, Jim DeShong, Johnny DeShong, Denzil Borden (Linda), Cluetis Borden (Joyce), Bueil Borden, Libby Joiner (Tommy), Josephine Little, Brenda Long, Cynthia Brooks (Gary) and Rhonda DeShong; and his grandchildren, Steele Joiner and Dennis Joiner. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
