He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovice Martin and Alice Benton Martin; and his brother Ronald Martin. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Elkins Martin; his daughter Melanie Martin Little (Steven); his grandsons, Micah Little (Callie) and Martin Little (Erika); his great grandchildren, Emmaline Little and Harper Little; his sibling J. W. Portwood (Gearldean); and his granddaughter-in-law Callie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Childhaven in Cullman, or the Rock Springs Cemetery Fund.
