She was predeceased by: her mother Nola Welborn; her husband Charles Brooks Dodson; her daughter Karen Renae Kruse; and her brother Carl Welborn. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Gillum (Jack); her granddaughter Emily Brooks Gillum; her sister-in-law Edith Welborn; and her niece Shannon Collier (Oneal).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Aldridge Grove Church of Christ (485 Co Rd 183, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the same location.
