He was predeceased by: his father Henry Waits. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Reagan Waits; his daughters, Neely Waits and Jennifer Lambert; his adoptive son Wesley Waits; his grandchildren, Felicity Robinson, Brian Spitler (Charm Reyes), Josh Spitler and Isabella "Itsabella" Spitler; and his great grandchildren, Amayiah Nesby and Amiri Nesby. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
