We bid farewell to Barbara Ann Blanton of Moulton, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Barbara Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert and Vera Hill Watson; her husband Larry Blanton; and her siblings, Kenneth Watson, Benton Watson and Juanita Lowry.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Mitchell of Decatur and Greg Gann (Missy) of Decatur; her sisters, Rena Sapp Jordan of Moulton and Ruth Tritt of Akron, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Cody Mitchell (Jessica), Will Gann (Emily), Anna Claire Gann and Josh Gann; and her great grandchild Natalie Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Funeral Home (741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beltline Church of Christ in Decatur.
