He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Bradford and Walter P. Scott; and his siblings, Elizabeth Scott, Burnice Scott, Bobby Scott, Lavon Scott, Charles Scott and Joseph Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Thomas Scott; his children, Keith Scott (Leesa), Rita Burns (Jerry), Terry Scott (Nicole) and Christie Boyd (Eric); his grandchildren, Whitney Darnell, Nicholas Darnell, Courtney Scott, Leesha Scott, Danielle Scott, Arisa Hughes (Steven), Caleb Scott, Chase Scott, Kailey Boyd, Brandon Burns (Michelle) and Nick Burns (Kelli); his great grandchildren, Alexis Rowe, Ryan Burns, Arya Hughes, Kennedi Burns and Leah Burns; and his sister Patsy Bright. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
