He is survived by: his wife Teresa W. Self; his sons, Chris and Dale Self; his stepsons, Brent and Jeremy Earnest; and his siblings, Ralph Self, Martha Tyree, Barbara Higgins and Janice Robertson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
