James Kenneth Sims Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kenneth Sims of Morris, Alabama, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Kenneth Sims to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenny Sims and Dot Sims; his grandparents, Oliver, Imogene Hope, James and Myrtle Sims; and his mother-in-law Glenda Webster Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Sims; his daughters, Taylor Sims Cude (Bryan) and Maggie Sims (Harrison Witcher); his sister Kim Sims Cooper (Darron); his uncle Carl Hope (Densie); his niece Mychale Cooper; and his nephew Roman Cooper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Springdale Baptist Church (101 Springdale Rd, Birmingham, AL 35217). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
