He was predeceased by: his parents, Darvin Allen Dobbins and Miriam Mae Harley Dobbins; his brothers, Gary Dobbins and Dennis Dobbins; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Weger and Gary Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa F. Dobbins; his children, Jessi Dobbins Mulvill (Cory), Joe Dobbins (Julie) and Megan Dobbins Yount (Kyle); his stepdaughter Falon Helveston (Jake); his grandchildren, Emma Mulvill, Madeline Mulvill Sibayan (Mick), Evan Mulvill, Ember Dobbins, Wylder Dobbins, Sawyer Yount, Miles Yount, Jackson Yount, Axl Yount, Allie Helveston, Turner Helveston and Presley Helveston; his sisters, Julie Weger, Diane Nelson and Lynn Keller (Craig); and his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Patrick Grayam, Tonya Weger, Chad, Danielle Keller and Cam Keller.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gardendale First Baptist Church - Missions, Jimmie Hale Missions, North Jefferson Women's Center, or Disabled Veterans of America.
