She was predeceased by: her husband James Autice Tubbs; her parents, Minnie Lou Sherer Posey and Rufus C. Posey; her siblings, Mary Hill, Nell Jones, Alice Johnson, Bud Posey, Frank Posey and Cuvelar Posey; and her great grandchild Matthew James Chamness.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Tubbs Batson (Bill), Joan Tubbs Miceli (Chuck) and Autice Wayne Tubbs; her adoptive son Floyd Posey; her grandchildren, Michelle Akin (Rusty), Janelle Currier (Mike), Jonathan Chamness (Jenna), Tawana Tubbs Hicks (Johnny) and Kristy Scott (Burtis); her great grandchildren, Stephanie Alexandria Wyatt, William English Akin, Carson James Akin, Noah Reis Currier, Mary Katherine Chamness, Zachary Lee Hicks and Kendall Reed Patterson (Brandon); her great great grandchild Scarlett Riley Grace Patterson; and her close friend Carol Grigsby.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
