It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette Sawyer of Morris, Alabama, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Glennis "Wayne" Sawyer; her parents, Roy Ballew and Cedora Ballew; her siblings, Barbara Wright, Doris Gamble and Billy Ballew; and her daughter Patti Holt Cheatwood.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla Sawyer Alexander (Chuck); her son-in-law Kenneth Cheatwood; her grandchildren, Lee Cheatwood (Monica), Michelle Key (Travis), Lacey Alexander, Haley Alexander, Chad Alexander (Hillary) and Brent Alexander (Annie); her great grandchildren, Bella, Sawyer, Jax, Oakley and Jace; and her siblings, Nedra Engle (Edward), Kay Pruett (Charlie), Harold Ballew (Sue) and Charlie Ballew (Joyce). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
