He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Harold and Billie Sue Beasley Higginbotham; and his brother Harold Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Benita Higginbotham; his children, Jennifer McCoo (Keith), Derek (Emily) and Nicolas Higginbotham (Kelsie); and his siblings, Debra McGarr (Walt) and Carl Higginbotham. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
