With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Lucille Tingle of Moody, Alabama, who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Melba Lucille may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Wayne Davis, Lisa Gail Thomas and Austin Lee Tingle; and her siblings, Felix Scott Jordan, Melissa Jordan Blalock and Richard Jordan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home (225 Dana Rd, Warrior, AL 35180). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
