He is survived by: his sons, Lowell M. Dykes, Jr. and Mark Wayne Dykes; his sister Sue Ann Hallman; his grandchildren, Jae Morgan Dykes, Hannah Dykes, Haley Dykes, Steele Dykes, Spencer Dykes, Jill Grindberg and Johnny Douglas; and his uncle Charles Dykes.
