It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Hamer of Moody, Alabama, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Edward Hamer; and her siblings, Faye Justice, Melvin Johnson and Bobby Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Jada L. Hamer and Joel Edward Hamer (Lisa); her siblings, Lynn Reeves (Dub), Aaron Johnson and Boyce Johnson (Debbie); her grandchildren, Hillary Hamer Davis (Jeremy) and Harley Lyle Hamer; and her great grandchildren, Ava Graham, Piper Paulson, Brodie Hamer and Gentry Byars.
