He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Tucker Britt; his parents, Samuel J. Britt and Zelma Britt; and his sister Linda Britt Barnes. He is survived by: his daughter Hayley Britt Harper; his grandson Taylor Britt Harper; and his siblings, Jimmie Britt (Betty), Peggy Oaks, Gail Pate (James), Martha Tawbush (Eddie) and Karen Milton (Mike). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
