He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Isbell and Nancy Isbell; and his siblings, Corbie Isbell, John Isbell, Magadalene Dawson, Lorene Dunaway and Emma Isbell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Susan Isbell; his children, Merinda Cook (Joey), Jamie Isbell (Susan), Chris Isbell (Elaine) and Glenn Isbell (Monica); and his grandchildren, Crystal Pearson (Mark), Kimberly Hubbard, Jessie Isbell (Dava), Justin Isbell (Emma), Christina Tomas (Raymund), Devan Isbell, Tristan Isbell (Kensey), Le'gan Isbell, Rylan Cook and Mason Cook. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
