He is survived by: his wife Melba Mickle Ethridge; his children, Joy Davis (Donnie), Pam, Lala Randle (David) and James Ethridge Jr. (Katie); and his sisters, JoAnn Smith and Martha Sweatt. He is also survived by Grandchildren and great grandchildren who Papa.
