She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Chandler and Cheally McCrary; her stepfather Statley Thomas; her former husband Eural H. Starnes; her siblings, Benny Thomas (Janett) and Faye White (Clarence); and her granddaughter April Starnes Riggins.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Franklin; her children, Linda Davis (Willard) and Gary Eural Starnes (Gwen); her grandsons, Brian Starnes, Brad Coleman (Quinn) and Chad Coleman; her great grandchildren, Ryan Starnes, Amari Riggins, Maddie Coleman and Landon Coleman; her great great grandchild Stormi Skye Starnes; her stepson Charles Franklin Jr. (Starr); and her brother Wayne Thomas.
