It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Ray Sims of Moody, Alabama, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Onnie Sims, Jesse Sims, Clarence Inman and Elma Inman; and his parents, Doris Inman Sims and Ray A. Sims.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cooley Sims; his sons, Donald Chase Sims (Rachel) and Wesley Cole Sims; his brother David Sims; his grandchildren, Oliver Ray Sims and Quinn Mackenzie Sims; his niece Raechel Sims Herron; and his nephew Nathan Sims.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Associations 300 Cahaba Park Circle Suite 209.
