She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Argo and Edward Argo; and her husband John David Bauer II. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Bauer Mitchell and Jay Bauer (Salli); her grandchildren, Hannah Mitchell, Emma Mitchell, John David Bauer and Madeline Bauer; and her siblings, Ed Argo (Becky), Mike Argo (Violet) and Cheryl Usher. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and close family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made in Carolyn's memory to Odenville Presbyterian Church.
