He was predeceased by: his wife Jesse Nell Harkins; and his parents, Martin Cager and Rosa Lee Harkins. He is survived by: his children, Dwight Dean Harkins (Debra) of Harvest, AL and Tammie Thomas (Alan) of Moody, AL. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
