He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Doster Cochran and Bennie Carl Cochran; his brother Donald Cochran; and his grandson Kevin J. Ellenburg. He is survived by: his wife Carlene S. Cochran; his brother Bobby Cochran; his children, Pat Cochran Albro, Ben Cochran Jr., Nancy Lawrence, Julie Northern and Mike Lawrence; his grandchildren, Allison Weathington, Shannan Funderburk, Ash Albro, Shane Stevenson, Ben Cochran III, Brook Kiker, Jessica Worsham, Andrew Ellenburg, Ali Wheatley and Tara Chandler; his great grandchildren, Luke Kiker, Beau Kiker, Chloe Weathington, Grant Weathington, Ryan Funderburk, Ellie Stevenson, Wyatt Stevenson, Capri Worsham, Henry Worsham, Avery Ellenburg, Jackson Wheatley, Lettie Wheatley, Virginia Wheatley, Logan Chandler and Everly Chandler; his nieces, Donna Ballinger and Elizabeth Ballinger; and his nephew Jason Ballinger.
