He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scott and Vela Scott. He is survived by: his wife Diane Evans Scott; his children, Laura Leigh Churnside (Alex), Goodwin Scott and Franklin Scott; his grandchildren, Isla James Churnside and Sullivan Churnside; and his sister Jacqueline Scott (Marc Romanych). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (9045 Vaughn Rd, Montgomery, AL 36117). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens (909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
