Stewart Ray Hobbie Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stewart Ray Hobbie of Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Hobbie and Mary Helms Hobbie. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ebersole Hobbie; his son Joshua Caleb; his daughter-in-law Ashley Hobbie; his daughters, Lizzie Corrie Hobbie and Rebecca; his son-in-law Caleb Benson; his son Samuel Hobbie; his stepgrandson Jacob; and his siblings, Phelen "Phil" (Debra Hobbie) and Susan (Mark Isaman). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Stewart Hobbie Band Scholarship at LEAD Academy, 2897 Eastern Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36116.
