He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Stanford and Doris D. Stanford; his wife Therese; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy and Johnny.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Ann (John) and Shelley Neil, Jr. (Allison); his grandchildren, Cole, Jordan, Henry and Christian; his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law Andy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Montgomery Humane Society.
