With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Joseph McComas (Montgomery, Alabama), who passed away on August 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Mills McComas; his parents, Henry Clay McComis and Lola Loretta McComis; and his brother Richard C. McComis. He is survived by: his sisters, Johnnie L. McComis and Betty Y. Perkins; his siblings-in-law, Garnett McComis, Marilyn M. Aiken (David), Lana Diane Jones and Daniel A. Mills; and his caregivers, Jackie Kendrick, Ann Johnson and Narvie Gandy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catoma Baptist Church.
