We bid farewell to Rose Gothard (Montgomery, Alabama), born in Baxter, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 8, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Sherrill Preston Gothard, Sr.; her parents, Virgil Robbins and Jean Robbins; and her siblings, Priscilla Ratcliff, Patricia Burgess and Allen Robbins, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Sherrill Preston Gothard, Jr. (Beth), Pam Kilpatrick (Tommy) and Dawn Patterson (Ben); her grandchildren, Katie McDaniel (WC), Coleman Gothard, Lauren Julian (Lee), Chelsie Coscette (John), Kristian Kilpatrick (Lakin), Rutland Patterson (Haley), Parker Patterson, Reese Patterson and Benjamin Patterson; and her great grandchildren, Bentley McDaniel, Salter McDaniel, Hank Gothard, Clarke Gothard, Slade Julian, Blakely Julian, Emmett Coscette, Salvatore Coscette and Adeline Kilpatrick.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Donations can be made via their websites or through Catoma Baptist Church.
