He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Herring and J. B. Herring. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Herring; his children, Durham Cornett (Cheryl), Brien Cornett (Christy) and Angela Boyd (Chad); his grandchildren, Brock, Bradley, Bryleigh, Cammie, Madison and Hudson; and his nieces, Sara Bazzle (Keith) and Brenda Taylor (Steven).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
