Oscar Holland Sharpless III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oscar Holland Sharpless III of Montgomery, Alabama, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Oscar may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Oscar touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O. H. Sharpless, Jr. and Frances Cargill Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Sharpless; his children, Valerie Sharpless and Brad Sharpless (Margo); his grandchildren, Marley Sharpless and John Holland Sharpless; and his sisters, Frances Shell (Cary) of Pensacola, FL and Ginger Bryant (Ronnie) of Prattville, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.
