He is survived by: his wife Janice Hipsh Hersman; his daughters, Ashley Hersman Bach (Jenny) and Jenny Hersman Dodson (Robert Ashley Dodson, Jr.); his grandsons, James Chapman Powell (Amber Lozano Powell) and Ashley Monroe Johnston; his great grandchildren, Waylon James Powell, Scarlett Grace Powell and Savannah Joy Powell; his nieces, Elizabeth Hersman and Karen Hersman; and his nephew Don Hersman, Jr..
