He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Borders; his mother Flossie Borders; his brother Emil Borders; his niece Mary Lynn Borders; his brother Ronald Borders; and his parents-in-law, Betty and Pete Perkins.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Borders McCann (Brad), Larry Borders (Leisa) and Scott Borders; his nephew Ron Borders; his grandchildren, Laura McCann Barrow (Keith), Alicia McCann Foxworth (Brandon), Taylor Borders (Kelsie) and Brett Borders (Caroline); and his great grandchildren, Blakeley, Riley, Cayden Barrow, Addison, Truett Foxworth, Ty, Miles Borders and Pearce Borders.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Ministry at Woodland Methodist Church, 4428 Wallahatchie Road, Pike Road, Alabama 36064.
