She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Jones and Leola Hatcher Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Daphne Mathews; her grandchildren, Robert-Michael Devin Mathews and Mychaela Alexandria Mathews; her siblings, Vasco Jones (Ethel) and Alma Randolph (Willie); and her sister-in-law Mary Dyer. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
