He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Lee and Mae Omie Ritter; his wife Agnes Brooks Ritter; and his siblings, Ben Lee Ritter, Jr. and Leola Ritter Watson.
He is survived by: his son Rod L Ritter (Sarita); his grandchildren, Chase Ritter (Channing) and Chanley Ritter; his great grandchild Stearns Ritter; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Brooks and Annette Adkins Thomason.
