With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Wayne Owen (Montgomery, Alabama), who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Lester and Ruth Hall Owen; and also Ronald David Hayes, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Wildred Bailey Owen; his daughters, Donna Owen Hayes and Cathy Owen Miller (Michael); his grandchildren, Corey Owen Hayes (MaryAshley), Jacob Wayne Miller and Kayla Michelle Hayes; and his brother Larry Hall Owen (Jane). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylor Road Baptist Church.
